Like seen in the film Le Coup du parapluie there was space for many people inside. Inside there were different variants: The Peugeot 404 Break was the estate version of the 404. The Peugeot 404 Commerciale was a simplified version of the Break, without loading space fairing, with a smaller speedometer and other simplifications. The Peugeot 404 Familiale was a Break with a third row of seats, and so a lot of people fit in it.
